Product Description

Product Description

Urdu is the national language of Pakistan and the Pakistani people sincerely appreciate any attempt that foreigners make to speak their language.

This course concentrates solely on teaching foreigners to speak Urdu which is the natural way to learn the language. After knowing how to speak Urdu by practicing the sounds, structures and vocabulary in everyday activities, it will be much easier to read and write the script for those who need that ability.

The 27 lessons are divided into 80 working days, of which two hours per day are recommended for study with a tutor or native speaker, especially for accuracy in pronunciation, fluency of speech, and practice in conversation. All of the main structures of spoken Urdu are gradually presented in the simplest practical terms by what linguists call "the spiral approach."

Since spoken language is primary, the sounds of Urdu take precedence in this course. The model sentence method of teaching is used for learning structures and sentence patterns, for variations in the form of a dialogue, and for thinking in Urdu rather than always translating. Since it is better to handle a few words in their proper forms, only 1000 words and phrases are introduced. given on the important aspect of the habits, customs, taboos, and other cultural matters.

This book is complete with lists of sounds, Urdu words, English words, and subjects used in the lessons.

Access codes and supplements are not guaranteed with used items.
