Henry Hook is a legend in the crossword world, having spent many years at Games magazine. His puzzles are known for their devious themes and diabolical clues, and he constructs regularly for the Boston Globe. He lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Trip Payne worked for several puzzle magazines before embarking on a freelance puzzle-making career. His puzzles have appeared in many national publications and he has had two "15 minutes of fame". He has also worked on the game shows Million Dollar Password and Scrabble Showdown and is a three-time champion of the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament. He lives in Los Angeles, CA.
