Product Description

"This book created by Durga Periwal is the fruit of a great love story: love for god, life, humanity, and love for a remarkable companion, Hanuman Periwal. It is a tribute to 65years of companionship filled with tenderness, the communion of the souls, and fulfilling adventures around the globe. We are invited to experience these pages with respect and with gratitude as Durga let us penetrate into her inner garden."

The poems in this book chronicle our passage from Bikaner to Beacon Hill, busy life of constant companionship and mutual support. My husband's death is the greatest loss of my life. My heart is forever broken and I am passing through an unsettling time. Bereavement is very painful and stressful, especially when a couple has been together for so many years. During this time, my son Vipul gave me the idea of writing my emotional thoughts or what feelings come every day in my soul or spirit. The result is this book of poetry.

The loss of our true, in the real sense of the word, friend Hanuman Periwal, leaves a yawning gap in our hearts and minds, a gap on so many a level that it will take time to even realize for you and us how big the gap is. Our memories will not only be painful reminders of his loss, but also of a life that touched so many other lives for the better.
