About the Author

Anant Pai was born on 17 September 1929 in Karkala Karnataka. He is the founder of the popular comic series Amar Chitra Katha and Tinkle. Some of his other works include Ramu and Shamu, Little Raji, Funland, and Rekha. He has been awarded several prestigious awards in his lifetime. He died on 24th February 2011.
